What are the Causes of Back Pain?
There are many causes to back pain, an injury might be responsible, but it often is a consequence of a poor posture or an awkward twisting movement, bending or reaching or a combination of these, along with inactivity, resulting in stiffness and poor flexibility. Many jobs involve repetitive movements, leading to overuse and repetitive strain injuries. Injuries untreated lead to the body creating adaptive patterns compensating and altering the body mechanics, with pain altering the body function for the worse.
Symptoms may take months, even years to develop, increasing gradually until pain hinders on everyday activities.
